Thank you to our amazing partners

The rapid response of our philanthropic partners to the emergence of COVID-19 enabled Peninsula Family Service (PFS) to respond to the critical needs of our participants in a variety of ways. Emergency support came from the Sobrato Family Foundation, Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Sunlight Giving, San Mateo County Strong for Non-profits, Genentech, the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative, Comerica, Peninsula Health Care District, Sequoia Healthcare District and others. Investments from these partners enabled PFS to reopen our early learning centers, continue to provide meals to families and older adults, and support those experiencing job and income loss.

The incredible generosity of our partners supported PFS so we could quickly and creatively respond to the urgent needs laid bare by the pandemic. Our Corporate and Community partners showed empathy and a willingness to act quickly with funding for PPE and other equipment to maintain safety from COVID-19 transmission. Additionally, isolated older adults have suffered terribly during the ongoing pandemic and the gift of wifi-enabled tablets and training helped them connect safely with health care providers, family and friends, and entertainment. The Get Connected Program is a success that we anticipate growing in the future!

Peninsula Family Service extends our deepest gratitude to the many partners who supported us. To say that we could not have done it without you, is truly an understatement.
