You are invited to our open house to meet with staff and find out more about the Peer Counseling program requirements and benefits.
If you are 55+ years and want to help older adults, please join us. We provide services to individuals who represent a variety of cultures and speak many languages, including Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, African American, and LGBTQ+ community.

Peer Counseling is a one-on-one service provided by trained volunteers in San Mateo County. As a volunteer, you receive FREE training and professional support while you offer confidential emotional support, and understanding for one hour a week to older adults facing challenges such as loneliness, depression, grief, isolation from family & friends, loss, and life changes.
Support is offered in Cantonese, English, Mandarin, Spanish, Tagalog, and for African American and LGBTQIA+ communities.
